Be sure to visit the Zwin. The Zwin is Knokke-Heist’s most famous natural attraction. Long-established yet strikingly contemporary, the vast sandy plane which is flooded every day by the sea is both timeless and impressive.
Learn more about the unique habitat in a relaxed way, on your own or with an experienced guide. In summer, blooms colour the entire reserve a magical purple, while winter calls for a pair of sturdy boots and a firm stride as a bracing wind blows in from the sea.

Zeebrugge is situated next to Knokke-Heist. You can easily get there by taking the tram.  It's a small village but it's worthwile to take a walk in the marina what's also a part of the Royal Belgian Sailing Club.

While you are there you can visit "Seafront Zeebrugge", a maritime themepark for young and old.  You can learn more about the sea and all its secrets, and visit the lightvessel "Westhinder" or the real Russian Submarine "Foxtrot".
